TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Terms and Conditions set out here relate to The Confederation of Business Referral Associates Ltd T/A The Cobra Club website (www.thecobraclub.co.uk) and any social member communities hosted for us and any social media pages that The Confederation of Business Referral Associates Ltd T/A The Cobra Club use for promotion of the club and its members.

MEMBERSHIP

Premium Members have access to the club within the opening hours indicated in the premium members community page. At times or in special circumstances the club may not be open for business.

One month membership equals one calendar months or approximately 30 days. If you join on the 15th of April then your membership will renew on the 14th May for monthly plans and on the 14th April the following year for annual plans.

Members have no way to pausing their subscription but freely cancel their subscription by visiting their "account profile page" or "Premium members lounge space" on the Cobra Community Circle or "My account" web page on the clubs website. Please note that to manage your subscription you must enter the email address you signed up with which will then give you access to you account to manage your subscription.

Membership runs for either monthly or annually from the date their Credit Card Payments are processed. Fees are only refundable for 30 days from which membership was taken out which includes the 14 days Free Trial. 

Please contact info@thecobraclub.co.uk within 30 days of taking out the free trial if you would like a refund. Refunds will not be offered after this time. No exceptions.

TRANSFERRING MEMBERSHIPS

It is not possible to transfer a Cobra Club membership to another member of your team. You cannot sell your membership to anyone else or substitute someone else for the day using your membership either. The Cobra Club uses a single licence policy. This licence is only ever offered to the person who has registered their details when the Credit Card Payment was processed. No exceptions.

Transactions to The Confederation of Business Referral Associates Ltd T/A The Cobra Club are classed as business to business transactions and are subject to VAT in the UK. Membership automatically renews at the advertised rate per month or annually, excluding VAT, unless otherwise cancelled.

If you wish to cancel your subscription by the end of your 14 day free trial, you will no longer have access to the Premium Members Lounge and facilities this option provides. You will still have access to the free part of the community and your profile will remain active and visible to other members. If you choose you can delete your profile. The Confederation of Business Referral Associates Ltd T/A The Cobra Club reserve the right to delete your profile should it remain inactive for more than six calendar months of your membership expiring.

OUR NETWORK

As The Cobra Club grows, with Premium Membership,  you will gain access to more and more networking groups where you can discover new opportunities and make new business connections. There is no attendance policy, elevators or networking requirement put on any individual and you are allowed to be yourself. You can attend as much or as little as you please and attend as many group you like. The more you attend the more likely you are to gain new opportunities and make some great business connections.

If any club members wants to start a club of their own then speak to Reception who will be more than happy to assist you in your endeavours to open a new and vibrant Cobra Club Digital Business Hub. The more clubs we have the more opportunities are created for all the members of The Cobra Club.

MEMBERSHIP PAYMENT

The only way to accept payments at present is via debit / credit card. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express in the UK. Our payment provider is Stripe. Please visit their website for more details about payments in countries outside the UK.

EXPIRED MEMBERSHIP

If your membership has expired then simply log back onto The Cobra Club Website or Circle Community Premium Members Lounge and purchase your next subscription.

USE OF THE COBRA CLUB ONLINE DIGITAL BUSINESS HUB.

The Cobra Club is not responsible for advice given from any members using the facility. All members are advised to take whatever necessary advice from third parties, lawyers, solicitors, competitors, advisers etc to ensure the advice they have been given by a Cobra Club member is true and accurate. 

Each Cobra Club member is personally responsible for the content they post on our website or on our social channels. Members must ensure that own the intellectual property rights or have the applicable licence from the intellectual property owner before posting content. Cobra Club members will always own their own intellectual property. Any other members found using other members intellectual property are subject to action from another club member who believes they are using their own intellectual property. The Cobra Club is not responsible for content and we cannot police everyone’s content. If you believe someone is using your content, then please contact us in the first instance and we will investigate for you. Any legal action will be held out of The Cobra Club arena and the Cobra Club takes no responsibility for this or any costs associated with any legal action. Any club member found to be legally liable for intellectual property infringements will have their membership revoked with immediate effect.

Members agree not to post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, harassing, obscene, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy, pornographic, or otherwise in violation of any UK laws relating to online conduct. A full breakdown of this can be found in our code of conduct policy.

By agreeing to our terms and conditions you agree to us owning a non-exclusive royalty-free sub-licensable perpetual worldwide licence to use, publish, display or distribute this content on our website or other digital media or published media channels.

You are not authorised to post content on any of our media channels or our website that is classed as spam, contains viruses, or that can cause offence, whether it be chain mail, junk mail, bulk e-mail or spam. This list is not exhaustive and will be enforced. You would have deemed to have broken the terms and conditions if this is the case and your membership will be revoked.

SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions and our other policy documents found on our website through your use of our site and our digital services. When a breach of one of our policies has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate.

Failure to comply with these terms and conditions constitutes a material breach of the terms of use https://thecobraclub.co.uk/terms-of-website-use/ upon which you are permitted to use our site, and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:

  • Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our site and digital networking services.
  • Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by you to our site.
  • Issue of a warning to you.
  • Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach.
  • Further legal action against you.
  • Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary.

We exclude liability for actions taken in response to breaches of these terms and conditions.  The responses described in this document are not limited, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.

INDEMNITY AND EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

When you use our Cobra Club Website and our digital networking services you do so at your own risk. We provide these on an “as is” basis. It is up to you how you interact with other professionals on our website and our digital service but you are solely responsible for any costs associated with misuse.

CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We may revise the Terms and Conditions at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we make, as they are legally binding on you. Some of the provisions contained in the Terms and Conditions may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site.
